I’m pleased with the Boya BY-M1 microphone. It’s easy to set up, very lightweight, and works well for recording clear audio with my camera and phone. The sound is much cleaner than the built-in mic, and the long cable is really convenient. For the price, it’s a great choice for simple video or interview recordings.

Acabo de recibirlo, hice una prueba y es bueno , lo compré de uso porque quería ver si funcionaba en un Samsung A13 ya que he comprado un sinfín de lavalier y no me funcionaban. Doy 2 estrellas porque en la foto dice que venía con la esponja reductora de ruidos y este no lo trajo, otra cosa no es Boya, lo venden como Boya BYM1, dice claramente SEVENOAK, tanto el micrófono como la caja y manual. Lo conservaré porque me funciona, de lo contrario lo devolvería solamente por el engaño y manipulación. Reduje la estrella a una, porque al tratar de probar el micrófono en la PC el Jack de 3.5mm no entra en el adaptador, está dañado en su interior. A devolver. No compre este producto, es una vergüenza y una ofensa al consumidor que la propia tienda de Boya participe en esta estafa, está reportado el incidente a Amazon y voy a reportarlo a la agencia protectora del consumidor.

Not very good. I got it for a camcorder mic and I don't find the audio quality to be all that good. I found it to be worse than the built in mic on the camera itself. Look for another mic for those purposes.

Did not work with my Tascam. I had this plugged into a 1/4" adapter, and into the Tascam and the level was unusable (very very very low even on the highest gain) It had to be the mic that was messed up, because other audio equipment worked fine on the Tascam. I wouldn't bother taking the risk.
