This steamer is much easier to use than an iron and an ironing board. It is somewhat heavy when full of water, but in my opinion, this is outweighed by not having to iron which I detest. It works quickly to remove wrinkles on every fabric I used it on. I have another Rowenta steamer which I didn't use because it was awkward at best and a weird shape. This steamer is more balanced making it easier to use and doesn't need to be filled using a funnel which some steamers use. I still hate iron but I like this thing to get rid of those pesky wrinkles so I don't have to.

This is a powerful steamer that quickly removes wrinkles. It has a decent sized tank and I love that it can stand on its own. This feature is handy when I am adjusting garments and for storage. It heats up fast and water doesn't drip onto my clothes at all. (I've had that issue with other steamers.) I haven't experimented with many different attachments but they are easy to swap out. The one for clothes works well. This steamer seems well made and durable so I'm hoping it will last many years like my Rowenta iron.

My husband got a new jacket that was very wrinkled when it arrived, so we gave our new steamer a whirl. After reading the instructions for it, I added 1 cup of tap water to the reservoir and fired it up. It was ready in about 25 seconds - just like the instruction manual said it should be. It makes a sort of clicking sound as the water works its way into the spray nozzle, but finally steam started coming out... and boy did it turn STEAMY! I had the entire jacket (mostly) wrinkle-free in 10 minutes (I timed it). The different heads that are included seem well-made. It's nice that each one is clearly marked with what it's intended use is for (dewrinkling, cleaning, etc). They are super easy to install - just slide it on and a magnet holds it in place. I had no trouble with it falling off or anything like that while using it. I think the fragrance diffuser might be nice on occasion. I also thought the storage container for all of the attachments was a nice touch. At first, though, I didn't think there was room for the second fragrance diffuser that came with it because it doesn't seem to fit in it along with everything else. But, after looking it over a little more, I figured out that it would fit right under the diffuser that is already installed and the lid slides right over it. I took one star off my review because there were black marks on the steamer head right out of the box (and they didn't wipe off) and weird marks under the plastic protective film that was covering the water reservoir (I tried to capture the weird marks in a photo, but it was very difficult to do). I don't **think** it was previously used. Also, even though it was fairly easy to use, it got pretty heavy to hold about halfway through. I had to keep switching arms. My arms were pretty tired by the time I was finished with this jacket. And, the water reservoir is kind of hard to remove. Either my hands aren't big enough and/or strong enough, or I just need to practice using it a little more. It's very awkward for me (I included a photo of me pulling back on the release button while trying to simultaneously slide it out). I included some progress pictures of the jacket. The first two were the condition of the jacket out of the bag. The next one is the finished back side. The next one is half of the front side done and half untouched. The last one is the finished front side. I received this in exchange for my honest review. Overall, I'm happy with it so far as it did a great job on my husband's jacket. I'll update my review later if, after using it on more items, my opinion changes. It's a good name brand, so I would expect to pay more for it because they make good quality irons (in my opinion).

I own 2 other models of Rowenta steamers and love them. This lead me to purchasing this steamer. I like the different accessory attachments included with the steamer. I like the design and quick power up feature that allows you to use the steamer seconds promptly after powering up the unit. I like the long cord and the auto off feature that kicks in and shuts down the steamer after being left idle for an extended period of time. Dislikes are, I wish the water reservoir was a little bit larger and held more water which would extend the steamer usage time. I don't like after about 4 or 5 mins of use the unit spits water out onto the article of clothing that your steaming. This can really wet and dampen your garments to the point where after steaming you will need to let the article of clothing dry before wearing it. The spitting out of water from the steamer is not so apparent in my video because the shirt is black but this is a constant occurrence I've experienced since I've been using this steamer. Lastly, I don't like the power of the steamer going up and down which causes the steamer to go steamless for about 13 to 20 seconds while in use. This extends steam time of the article of clothing that you're steaming. My other Rowenta steamers don't do this. This is why I can only give this steamer unit 3 stars out of 5. 11.27.2023 Product update: A little over a month (10.16.2023 purchase date) after purchasing this steamer the product no longer is producing steam. Unit powers on but will not generate any steam. Rating decreased to 1 star. I now have to use my extended warranty that I purchased for this product due to the purchase being over 30 days and outside of the Amazon return window. This is a terrible purchasing experience and I will not be purchasing any more products from this company.

If I could give this 10* I would. Easy to use, works great, heats up fast, not cumbersome! I read the reviews. I have no issue with it leaking. The top gets hot as expected since that’s where the steam comes out. No special water to use either. I’m happy.

I do not like getting my shirts dry cleaned because I don't like how they smell after and I don't like the cost, so I normally iron my shirts, which is tedious and definitely not fun. This steamer releases wrinkles pretty well. It is NOT smaller than my Rowenta iron and I wish it came with some sort of a storage case. Overall, I can relatively quickly steam one shirt before I need to wear it, but it does not make collars, cuffs, and plackets as neat as an iron does. The water tank retains a little water even when emptied so it needs to be fully dried before storing. I dont think it replaces the iron, but it is a useful tool to have.
