Arrived promptly and after a charge on the mains to get it started it was out and on duty. It replaced a smaller unit so I did not have get a fence and stake. It has worked for the last 48hours and the flash and tick from the fence showed that it worked on a drizzly October day and stored enough for overnight. I still expect to top it up in the winter. So top marks for ease of set up and functioning as designed. The smaller unit was replaced as the seagulls and heron treated it with disdain, it really did not bother them. This morning I watched on CCTV as the heron received several jolts as it went through the fence, you could see it flinch, but it still got to the pond. I will be extending the wire of the fence but the learning is that there is not sufficient power to stop or deter the bird, only to teach it some respect. It did keep its distance from the wire as it took off when I appeared. So a good bit of kit but for some purposes it serves only as a warning not a solution. That is were the final star was lost as the description did include protection against herons, which it isn’t. Update Six months later and over the winter I only had to recharge it from the mains three times so that exceeded expectations. I have added a star as after its initial casual approach the heron has only been back a couple of times and then it kept a distance from the fence. It flies over most weeks, being chased by the gulls, but does not stop. So it appears that the unit is now earning its keep as intended.

This is a fantastic addition to any yard. It just clips on to the electric fence, really easy and works brilliantly. Great value for money.

Excellent. Have bought 2 now and would buy again. Well thought through item. Good onboard lithium battery so has been out all summer without needing charged but in autumn and winter easy to take in to recharge via 12V charger which is included. Claims to do 5km but I have two round a 10 acre field and 1 certainly doesn't give a noticeable shock at the far side.

Working perfectly so far. I charged it up before using it and to date it hasn't required a top up which considering the lack of sun recently is very promising. (14 days of continuous use). I haven't used the provided earth spike as I already had 2 in place. Attached to these, it gives quite a belt if you are unfortunate enough to touch it.

Have now set up the energiser, which was really straight forward and easy, and after a good charge is working brilliantly. I especially like the voltage tester, as my other one was trodden on.

A well priced item, easy to set up apart from the stand which has no instructions. The flashing light that shows when the unit is on is tiny and very hard to see in most lights. Saying that, the item works well and is far better value than many other solar energisers so if you want a deterrent that works without spending too much this could be for you.

If you want a good unit and amazing customer service you don’t need to look any further! I thought my unit had broken within 7 months which lead me to leave a 1 star review however their customer service person messaged me within 12 hours of the review and gave me a couple of things to do. I did exactly as they said and the unit works like new! The power of this unit is amazing as does cover quite a large area, it is also straight forward to install. Highly recommend!

Really pleased with this product. You can charge it and it will last for 15 days but I’ve only charged it once and it’s run really well on solar ever since. Really good pulse and runs the whole of my three fields of electric tape.

This solar fence charger is AWESOME!! We bought a Gallagher when we first built our pasture for our horses, and it was a lot more money and it gave out and stopped working after about 2 years. So we decided we would give My Animal Command a shot. It has worked every day for almost a solid year. We live in upstate NY with very rough winters and a lot of cloudy days, and this solar fence charger never failed us. The Gallagher needed a new battery to continue to work and that was very expensive, and a pain to get at, as it is awkwardly installed in the back of their unit, this charger has a very easy charging system. I have had to call this company twice, once when I first bought it and 11 months later. Both times the owner picked up the phone and answered my questions. In this day and age to have the the person who makes the unit talk to me and help answer my question is incredible! Great product and very amazing customer service. It's a 5 star solar fence charger, Bravo!!

Great electrical fence! PROS: -Easy to install -Work like a charm -Last all the years long with good orientation -Don't need to plug on outlet CONS: -Nothing to worried, just that the sticker near the button and the Led took off with rain and sun! Best way too kept the deers away from my apple trees.

Good to see this was Australian designed (China build) and it seems to be really good value. Haven't tried it yet but am confident it will be sufficient for our needs. Great service.

This was absolutely perfect for my garden. It was full power all the time for my garden. 12000. Kept my large dogs out. Even if grass grew into the energy fence never dropped the voltage of unit. Also for my garden did not have to have a 5 ft grounding rod. Until comes.with all I needed to get the results I wanted. Very easy set up! Company totally stands behind their product. After a year it stopped working. Told company and immediately shipped brand new unit out.

This charger is every bit of what they say. It is excellent strong sturdy and so far seems reliable easy to put together. I purchased it to run an extra area for magic guns but I have had horses and farm animals in the past and used a lot of different type chargers this one by four is the best and it’ll also love The solar power idea. Hope this gives me some years of service.
