Great capacitor! I use this to help the lights from dimming with my bass. It’s easy to install, just remember to use the charging resistor when hooking up and the discharge light when uninstalling. I was worried at first because this cap has no remote wire or terminal. I thought it would have no clue when to power on or off, but no, this thing senses when the battery is being used and still shuts off automatically! I love it

I’m using two of these capacitors wired in series for a 24v set up on a large power inverter. They help keep the inverter from shutting down from sudden short voltage drops when starting quick heavy loads like welders.Just like other reviews mentioned, the blue lights are very bright and can be distracting and annoying, but in my case it’s OK cause it’s in the back of a box truck solar powered mobile repair/welding shop.These type of capacitors are great for short quick bursts of power like a quick split second bang sound when using for audio.It protects your battery from the quick short voltage draw spikes. If your the bass hit is more than a few milliseconds it will not keep your lights from dimming cause that’s not what these are for, you need a bigger alternator for that.

Only thing I don't like is the light comes on by it self when SUV is turned off but it doesn't really use any power so it's all good

Great quality, easy to install, works great! I was a little skeptical at first when i purchased this unit I run a sundown audio SA classic 15” @ 1ohm off of a Rockford Fosgate power T1000 1bdcp along with a Rockford fosgate T400.4 power series with Rockford for power for mids and highs, I’ve heard mixed reviews about capacitors vs batteries and I decided to try this before the a second battery upgrade, it works great for what I have I now have no more voltage drop, bass sounds crisp and clear and amps are producing nice clean sound from my amps. This is a must have for anyone experiencing audio voltage drops and headlight dimming, don’t listen to to the people hating on capacitors, try one for yourself, and if you don’t like it then buy that expensive second battery!

I did everything right on set up. Now it's lights up for maybe 2 seconds,then shuts off

I was nervous about it at first after reading others reviews but I got it, Followed instructions and now my tail lights do not flash when the bass does.

Before installing this product I had a problem with my headlights dimming when my bass would hit. My radio would also sometimes shut off. Since installing this product, I haven't had any more issues. Installation was easy with included hardware. Would recommend.

This keeps turning on without my amp being on and it drains your batt. 2 out of 5 stars for this.
