I couldn't get the extension hose to fit and stay on the catch basin kit. I followed all the directions, watched the videos and had my boyfriend help me. Couldn't get it to work. Contacted the company and they were wonderful. They sent me a replacement and that one did fit. The replacement also included a metal clamp that really does hold the 2 ends together. The only problem is that the clamp is rusting really badly. But at least the pipes are still joined together!

I got exactly what I wanted. It arrived when they said it and it was in perfect condition.

Exactly what I needed. Durable quality. The design make easy to extend and compress again. I used it for siphoning my fish tank so I am not sure about the size for other uses but I am sure it would fit whatever your need is as it measured exactly as described.

Would not recommend for sub surface install, very light material, weed eater will cut it quickly

.. I had a terrible time connecting the pipes with the white connector piece... I don't know if it's because I have three left thumbs or it's just too tight a fit. I barely got it but wasn't confident it would hold together very well... I taped them with a generous amount of the Gorilla Duct tape and used two circular clamps... I'm satisfied. I needed the smaller diameter of this product to fit under the door. (If you can see the picture)... But depending on what you're doing you might want to consider a larger diameter pipe.... ....

I used this pipe to make a waste path for my bench grinder. I bought two 2" 90 degree elbows, and used this pipe to duct the outlets for my wire wheel and grinding wheel into a bucket below the bench grinder, at the base of the grinder stand. Now, all the junk that get spewn out of the exhaust ports on the bench grinder goes to the 90 degree pipes, into the flex tubing, and right into the bucket. I can't tell you how happy that makes me. I have zero clean up!

Noticed neighbours using the regular, wider black outlet pvc downspout extension hose to divert water from their sump pump outlets farther away from their foundations but the downspout diameter is wider than an average sump pipe. This version fits snugly over the sump pipe extension on the side of the house to take the water farther and the length is just about right.
