I got these for myself for Xmas for my 2023 Hyundai Kona. The reviews looked good. The packaging was good. The instructions not quite as clear as they needed to be but the video helped. I realized the screws were attached to the rails already and not in the bag. So once I found those I had all I needed to install. I had a lot of trouble with one casing but after working with it and fighting with it, I finally got it to lock but hope it stays in place as needed. Overall though I’m really excited and pleased. They look good and make my car look more sporty.

Perfect fit for my 2022 Hyundai Kona, holds the kayaks in place securely. When empty, they are quite loud however, when travelling on the highway at high speeds.

I got this set cause it had a locking mechanism on it. They just turn tho... with any thing that is flat and can be inserted into the slot just barely. So don't buy these just cause they lock. One of the rivets was loose (outta 8 total) but I was handy enough to fix that. The Allen keys/screws provided kinda suck the way they have a hole/slot in center of wrench/bolt. However, I think they do that to u don't put your own in a drill and crank too hard. Don't get me wrong, I like them. They work, they look good. Just telling u the problems I had.

I purchased these in March and they appeared to be good quality. Today I tried to install them. The directions were a blurry page of pictures that can barely be seen. The rail itself and brackets are sturdy and were easy to put together and attach to my roof rails. The plastic bracket caps,, the lock and the keys are cheap pieces of junk. After you have adjusted the brackets by widening them to fit on your roof rails, the cap no longer fits. You can’t put it on or lock it. As I was trying to figure out if I was doing something wrong the lock completely fell out of the cap. I attempted to return them but apparently I am waited too long and they can’t be returned. It hadn’t occurred to me to put them on in March because I live in Massachusetts and was not planning on doing any kayaking in 30 degree weather. Now I’m stuck with them, without the sleek look of caps, or locks. And the look terrible on my car.
