Great all around lighter. Definitely windproof.
This is my first electric lighter, so it was interesting, if not comical, the first time I used it. At first, even though I knew it was a different kind of lighter that used a completely different method to start a fire, I still tried to use it like a traditional bic lighter. Let me emphasize, this does not work like a traditional lighter (duh). It looks almost like foreign, alien technology when it lights a candle (I love the pretty, northern-lights-looking green hues that happen when the plasma arc touches the wick). In practice, it works best if used like car cigarette lighter. For those of you not old enough to remember what car cigarette lighters are, once upon a time, cars had built-in cigarette lighters and ashtrays. It was basically just a heat resistance lighter that sat in your 12v outlet. You pushed a button, waited for the element to get red hot, pulled it out of the after 20ish seconds, and lit your cigarette. It was kind of slow, not very versatile as it was mostly only good for lighting cigarettes, but it was always there, wind didn't matter, and it never ran out of "fluid." This is better than a car cigarette lighter because you can take it anywhere without having a car attached, you don't have to wait for it to get hot, and it still has the advantages of a car cigarette lighter, while being much more versatile because it's also great at lighting candles and any other kind of fire. I had no problem lighting candles, even deep ones. The extending nodes are great for many applications. But I had a little trouble lighting cigarettes until I figured out to use it like a car lighter instead of like a traditional bic lighter. After I figured that out, I had no more issues lighting cigarettes. The surface around the ceramic nodes gets a bit dirty after a while, but I haven't experienced this interfering with the function of the lighter. It just works. I'm reasonably happy with the battery life, and it charges pretty quickly. I really like that it uses USB-C to charge. USB-C cables are everywhere, and anyone who uses an Android phone or tablet will have these laying around. A battery life indicator would be a nice improvement. Not knowing how low the battery is might be a peace of mind while camping. Of course, a battery bank would solve this issue. Who goes camping with electronics without a battery bank? And frankly, the battery on this lighter is good enough to last for days, even for a heavy smoker. You'd have to forget to charge it many days in a row to run out of battery. And if all you have to do is start a fire occasionally, I wouldn't worry about running out of battery. I'm happy with the lighter. All that remains to be seen is how long it lasts. I'd say it works as described.

Very useful electric lighter
This portable lighter has helped me so much on my travels. While on the road sometimes getting a hold of butane refill can be troublesome. An electric lighter fills that niche convenience while also providing utility. The lighter function can extend and stretch for better control/aim when lighting candles or flames in hard to reach places. The lighter is rechargeable via usb-c cable that is included. There is also a decently long strap to put on the lighter. As for other traits, the lighter is cylinder shaped for ergomics and functions as a bright flashlight when the cap is closed. Overall, the flashlight feels very high quality and has proven itself to be very useful to me. It is well recommended from me so give it a try.

Rechargeable Lighter
This Lafagiet USB‑C rechargeable lighter is incredibly handy and works exactly the way you want it to. The 360° flexible neck is the standout feature — it bends easily and holds its shape, making it perfect for candles, grills, fire pits, or hard‑to‑reach spots without burning your fingers. The electric arc lights quickly and reliably, even in wind, which makes it great for outdoor use. The USB‑C charging is a big upgrade from older micro‑USB models. It charges fast, holds a solid charge, and the battery indicator is a nice touch so you’re never guessing. The build feels sturdy, the safety switch works well, and the lighter itself is lightweight without feeling cheap. If you want a reliable, windproof, and easy‑to‑use rechargeable lighter with real flexibility, this one is an excellent choice.

A Versatile and Precise Lighter for More Than Just Fires
This is a fantastic and versatile electric lighter that has quickly become an essential tool for me, both for its intended purpose and for my craft work. The design is brilliant. The battery life is excellent, and I can go a long time before needing to top it off. The flexible neck is a game-changer for lighting fires, as it lets you position the ignitor deep inside a tinder pile, away from the wind. Not that wind is an issue—the plasma arc is completely windproof, making it incredibly reliable outdoors. While it's a great fire starter, I primarily use this lighter at my leather bench. It is the perfect tool for singeing and sealing the ends of my stitching thread. The precision of the arc allows me to get close to the leather without leaving the scorch marks that a conventional flame lighter often would. It works flawlessly for this delicate task. For the cost, this is an amazing alternative to a traditional flint lighter. It's more reliable, versatile, and precise. I highly recommend it.

Decent lighter, but the battery left much to be desired
I was great while it lasted, but died within a month of use. The flash light was very bright and the arc word decently well. The battery though left a lot to be desired.
