No, it doesn't have a thermostat so you have to keep an eye on it when the temperature drops or you circulate cool air, quite noisy too..

Q: Does anyone know if this would work on an oil filled free standing radiator? Thanks.

In response to your question, no , in fact stay clear as they don’t actually work, yes it works mechanicaly, but doesn’t work circulating air. I brought two and was a compcpleat waste of money.

It runs all the time (when switched on). This is the biggest drawback with the product. The other (smaller) problem is that it is a bit noisy.

It will on the new type like the one in the picture but not on the old
