Does what it says on the tin !! Cleaned my badly stained alloy wheels perfectly - practically back to factory standard now - and the car is 10 years old. A couple of caveats - it isn't possible just to spray the liquid on and just leave it to work, as the instructions say, because the liquid is runny like water and just runs down off the wheel - you have to do a bit of light rubbing with a cloth and old toothbrush almost immediately to get a result. That said, it isn't hard work and the cleaning effect is obvious very quickly. This is a great product - wish I had found it sooner.

Now, I have never bought an alloy wheel cleaner before, so I cannot give any comparrisons to another product. However, I can say that this is seriously brilliant! I mean, you simply spray it on your wheels (all over), leave for a few moments, then wash off with a hose. The results are startling! I do not know what is in it, and the instructions state that you should only clean one wheel at a time, as the product should not be on the wheel for any more than 1 minute, so my guess is that it is some serious stuff. I used it without gloves on, and even carelessly splashed some on my face (not in my eyes) and didn't have any adverse reaction to it, but the way in which it cleans, you could easily believe that the chemicals used were mental strength. The bottom line - this product cleans filthy wheels like new in under a minute! Well done Autoglym.

Another good product from Autoglym but should really come in a much larger size now that huge alloy wheels are the norm.

Brings up wheels really clean with no water spots left after if rinsed properly.

Keeps wheels lovely and clean. Will always buy autoglym to wash my two cars.

So I'm a bit of a Bilt Hamber fanboy but I thought I'd try this out case Auto Glym is reputable and heard good things. Followed the instructions gave the rims a scrub and it came out clean so not bad on that front. You can also clean your tyre wall, spray on and scrub with tyre brush and it worked well. When I used the spray, it came out a lot thinner then I expected and felt more like a heavy all purpose cleaner. The dirt didn't really lift off and needed a clean. Maybe my rims were too dirty for it? When I use Bilt Hamber rim cleaner, spray on leave 5 minutes , turns purple and rinse, most of it is off whereas auto glym needs to be agitated with a brush. Props where its due, it cleans the tyre wall wall and is runny enough to get everywhere you want it to. It is cheaper than Bilt Hamber but you end up using more so long term may work out same price? Would I buy again? If it was on offer, for sure.

This stuff is brilliant. just wash your wheels, spray this on and leave for about 5 minutes and then wash off. might have to use a bit of elbow grease on some areas or repeat but brings my wheels up like new. fantastic product and a good price.
