My original Panasonic remote died. Looked on Panasonic website, they wanted a lot more for a different but compatible remote. Put the part number into Amazon and this came up at a fraction of the cost, made by a different company. If you look at the photo, the new one is on the left and my dead Panasonic is on the right. They are not just similar, they are as close to identical as you can get. Needless to say, the new one just works. It is very nicely made, the same quality of materials, everything. The low price made me think I was taking a chance, but this product has exceeded my expectations because it is just as good as a Panasonic original.

Works properly

Older telly with failed remote. Bought this as replacement - not a Panasonic but pretty good facsimile at fair price. All functions are functional and are functioning in a fully functional manner.

The button that suggests "guide" does not find the tv listings which is rather annoying.

The remote arrived on time and worked well - unless you want to use the guide function as this doesn’t work. I read in other reviews this had been an issue but thought maybe it wasn’t as regular problem as it seemed - WRONG. Ours didn’t work and for my elderly parents that was a problem. Returned and refunded. Fully working replacement brought from elsewhere (15p dearer).

After nearly 10 years my remote was completely knackered with failing buttons, in particular the ok button. This remote seems to be the same and has given my TV a new lease of life. Highly recommended to those in a similar situation.
