Bankers Box Storage Box, Pack of 4, Green and White

I bought these for use as an easy-to-move bed base (seriously - check the various videos out there).They are decent and sturdy enough to sleep on with a latex mattress straight on top of them though I use a load spreading set of foam tiles as well now (previously a couple of layers of flattened cardboard). A friend came to stay and stood on the edge of the mattress of the guest bed...and his foot collapsed one of the lids immediately; we just lifted the mattress up and swapped the damaged lid for an undamaged one from the centre of the array much to everybody's amusementThey can be folded into boxes / re-flattened easily many times.They are big enough to put serious and multiple household items in without the 'one thing per box because it is already full' scenario while being strong enough to withstand being lifted when you have got things in them. I wouldn't want to fill them completely with books or paper and try this though - even if this is their design function.

I bought these boxes to cart about some really heavy books. The total weight must have been 20kgs in some of the boxes, but they were really sturdy and we were able to carry them around with the handles without the boxes falling apart.They are really easy to assemble, the box pops open just by pulling the sides apart and popping a flap down which literally takes seconds. The lids take a bit longer to assemble, but each side is just folded down and secured. Each box takes about 30 seconds I would say.We also stacked them for a while (full of books), but the lids started to cave in which is to be expected. So bear this in mind, but the boxes really were heavy. They fold back down for easy storage and we popped them back into the boxes they came in so they didn't take up too much room.I bought these from the Amazon warehouse deals (see the used section), and even though it says they have cosmetic damage, they looked as good as new to me. I may have just been lucky but I bought two lots and both were in perfect condition.I can't think of any negative points!

I'm currently using 17, stacked, to keep my stuff organised. I think the price might be a little high but then all sets of bankers boxes seem expensive. They're not the most elegant, either (but the most elegant designs are way more expensive). These are simple and reliable for items of reasonable weight. I'll probably buy more to help with a move. I didn't rate the "sheerness;" didn't quite get the context. Sheer like a cliff wall, as in straight? The sides are straight and the lids fit neatly, if that's what it means.

These are good size boxes, made of robust cardboard, although I wouldn't trust them with too heavy a load. Assembly takes less than a minute per box and based on my previous similar boxes. they will last for years. Good value for money.

Easy to assemble; sturdy boxes. With the lid on, they are even more sturdy and the hand-holes are well-positioned for carrying. I have four of them (full of documents) stacked on top of each other and they can easily take that weight.

Pricey but best durable boxes available. Delivery was on earliest date given. Good service.

Not good for anything even marginally heavy (such as files, books for bankers boxes are usually intended!), look good and easy to assemble but not really fit for purpose

These bankers' boxes were delivered quickly (to the Highlands). The price was reasonable and they seem fairly strong although not as heavy duty as my existing ones - but they were bought about 15 years ago! These are great for storing/transporting books or household bits and pieces. With the lids on they stack very safely in a compact space. They come flat-packed but are easy to make up and will collapse again easily for storage when emptied.
