The American doll's body is fine, but the doll's hair is such a disappointment. The hair is wispy and made with a cheap, nasty nylon. The hair underneath seems to be glued on and has short hard bristles poking through the wispy hair strands. I am appalled by the poor quality of this doll's hair. Over the years I have collected many dolls and they all have thick, glossy hair, evidence of quality craftsmanship. I have probably bought a factory reject, quickly slapped together, with no guarantee in the quality of the product. What a disappointment!

The photos give this doll no justice. Her hair when pulled is almost to the floor. Her hair is thinner than most dolls which is nice because it’s so long.
