I used the HG Satin Tile Polish for Quarry Tiles, and I’m very impressed with the results. It’s excellent value for money, especially considering how little you need per application. It was very easy to apply, and it gave my tiles a nice satin finish without being too shiny or slippery. What I really appreciate is how long-lasting it is – even after a few weeks, the tiles still look clean and polished. Highly recommend if you’re looking to restore or maintain the look of quarry tiles with minimal effort.

The product did what it said on the label easy enough to apply with a cloth. Difficult with a squeeze mop as advised as this left a visible mark where the mop finished so better by cloth

I used this product after applying a cleaner and old product remover from the same manufacturer. Preparation is key and therefore ensuring that the floor is thoroughly cleaned is important. I applied the first coat, using a cotton rag, to an area of 1 sqm initially and completing a further 3 sqm at and allowed to dry for 40-60 min then applied the second coat, which requires 12+ hours to fully dry to produce a hard wearing and durable finish. Our kitchen has around 16sqm of quarry tiles and therefore I undertook the work over a week or so, to ensure that I could “fence off” the area being worked on from our dog and other people in the house: worth considering as you don’t want to spoil your hard work! Based on footfall, the finish should last for 6 months or so in terms of appearance, although in terms of protection, will last far longer.

This stuff just works. It's still shiny 6 weeks after it was put down - in a hall way and downstairs toilet on quarry tile in the most hard worn part of the house. I'm really impressed with this stuff and highly recommend it. HG stuff has always been good, this continues that trend....

It is so quick and easy to use. First Hoover and clean the floor then when it's dry add a coat of this liquid. I used a cloth, it is very liquid so a sponge mop would have been easier perhaps for a large area. It drys quickly in about 40 minutes then you can add a second coat. It is fully dry in 12 hours l think. The quarry tiles have a wet look shiny finish, which looks wonderful. No more dull tiles! I only did the downstairs loo but l intend to do our other quarry tiles. Time will tell how long the finish lasts and when l'll have to re apply the polish.
