LogiLink UA0021D - USB 2.0 extender (extension via RJ45 cable) up to 50 m

Does what it says on the tin. High quality, USB1.1-compatible (only) but just what I needed to connect a remote 3D printer to a Mac. Worked first time, no fiddling about with power supplies nor drivers. There is a dedicated "Receiver" and "Transmitter" The receiver has a female USB port to accept whatever cable you would normally use with the device. The transmitter has normal male USB which just connects to a free port on the computer. Connect the two together with a straight-through RJ45 Cat 5 Ethernet cable (I made my own because I'm sad like that) and it just works. Great value for money and highly recommended.

I have used this tiny usb extender to connect a PC to an Interactive white board and worked perfectly fine through 14 mt of cat 6 patch lead . Great value for money.

A quick test shows, it will work with a barcode scanner at 35m cable distance but not at 42m. Using Cat5e cable

This item is USB 1.0 only and is not compatible if your connected devices must run at USB 2.0. Unfortunately I had to return the item as it just wouldn't work for me.

I used these to connect a USB microphone to my laptop through a 30 m Cat 5 cable. Worked perfectly - just had to plug into the laptop and it was ready to go. I find the extenders well built and robust.

I have CCTV DVR in the loft and monitor downstairs, I wanted to operate the mouse downstairs, I used these extenders with a cat5 cable run over 15mtrs , works great.

Works perfectly to extend Bluetooth range for an Nvidia shield that is on the other side of the house in a utility room. With one end plugged into the Shield and a cat6 ethernet cable running from there to the Living room it works perfectly.

Ho acquistato 2 coppie di questi LogiLink per estendere il mouse USB su un Videoregistratore digitale .. Per remotizzare 2 postazioni di controllo composte appunto da Mouse e Monitor 22" .. Ho passato 2 tratte di cavo Cat 5 nell'abitazione ( non ho raggiunto i 60 metri ma circa 40 ) appena ultimati i lavori collegando lato videoregistratore i 2 ricevitori USB con un HUB da 4 porte e collegando alle 2 postazioni i 2 mouse .. Tutto ha preso a funzionare alla perfezione e senza latenza !

Funktioniert einwandfrei. Für den Anwendungsfall, dass ein weit entfernt vom PC stehendes Gerät weit am PC über USB angebunden werden muss, gut geeignet. Es ist natürlich zu beachten, dass die LAN-Leitung direkt zwischen PC und Gerät angeschlossen werden muss und damit für andere Anwendungen nicht mehr zur Verfügung steht. Zwischen Gerät und PC darf kein Switch verwendet werden.
