Kabuto Sumo Total Mayhem - Expansion to The Kabuto Sumo Base Game - 2 to 4 Players - 20 Minute Play Time

Although sometimes I liked the slow, back and forth gameplay of the base game, it definitely dragged when trying to teach someone new. This expansion solves that by making alternate conditions. Must buy in my opinion.

If you like silly games that test dexterity and involve wrestling. This is the game. It is simple to learn and to understand and it’s unique enough where it stands out on a game shelf.

It adds some twists to the base game and generally makes games go a little faster. I really like it.

I liked using the chair and thorns, although the thorns make for a quick game if you're not careful ;)

The concept was very different which is always cool! We've never played anything quite like it before. And it's great for any age! The game pieces are good quality. Build up the game stage and launch platform and pick your beetle wrestler. Each come with signature moves and special advantages. It will mimic what their defenses are in the true wild! Very cool! Each one will also start with specific playing pieces (your inventory) which includes small, medium, or large discs. You have to "buy" your special playing piece. The concept is simple. Win by pushing any other wrestler off the game stage. Will you play offensively or defensively? On your turn, pick your playing piece and place it anywhere around the stage on the platform and push your disc. As soon as it leaves the platform, you're done. You get any pieces that fall off the stage and add them to your inventory. If you run out of inventory, you're out of the game. You can play individually or as teams. Change it up by choosing different wrestlers to see what their game advantages are. Some are definitely better than others! We made it fair and randomly selected which ones we would play. Don't get too caught up in just trying to increase your inventory cuz you might forget how to win!! The special moves/advantages were kind of confusing. Overall a fun, easy game, with some strategy involved.

We had a great time playing Kabuto Sumo!! It is a fun team game but also a fun two person game!!
