This cable work with my Seek Thermal iOS camera. These cameras are notoriously tricky when it comes to cables and dongles, so it it worked on the Seek, it should work on pretty much anything.

I have an Audi with an older stereo that has a port for the old iPod 30-pin connector. I bought a proper adapter to connect from the iPod connector to a lightning connector, and then used this cable as an extension so I wouldn’t need to put my phone in the glove box of my car every time I connect my phone. Works great with the other adapter, no compatibility issues.

I had one of these before, and after it failed, I got another one of the same brand. I noticed that the male end of the plug has much more wiggle than the Apple branded charge cable. It doesn't seem to "seat" in the same secure way. I can't tell if that is why the other one failed. Time will tell with this one. UPDATE: Time told. It failed after 6 weeks. I looked at the connector tab and it looked like the metal elements were damaged by insertions, even though I am very gentle with it. I don't know if this is cause by the poor geometry of the lightning plug or the housing, or if it is poor materials. I won't be getting another one of this brand.

I bought this so I could charge my phone while driving but with the cable mostly concealed. This works but the charge rate is very slow indeed. I have tested it at home linked via Apple cables and the result is the same: the phone charges very slowly, less than a tenth of the speed compared with using the Apple cable only. Disappointed.
