I have just received my kit. It says open in 8 days but it says below they are dated beyond xmas. Please clarify.

The process must be started by the use by date The 1-8 days refers to the start of the growing process, this is not relevant until you begin growing the product.

How long can you keep cropping from the one "bucket" (1 month 2 month 3 month????) or never ending?

I've bought these direct a couple of times, not via Amazon - and they only gave me 2 crops, maybe a meagre 3rd... I can remember my dad buying similar kits in the 1970s that gave him flush after flush of mushrooms. Better than others out there, it seems, but not as much in there as there used to be in such kits.
