Grip Puppy Ultimate Comfort Grips for Motorcycles/Scooters etc

This is the first set of these I’ve ever bought and I was a little worried about the installation as I’ve seen others struggling to fit them. I needn’t have worried, a little soapy water on the original grip and inside the grip puppies and they went on easily (see video). After drying out there’s no movement in them at all. The first ride with them the extra thickness felt a little alien but I quickly got used to it. The reason I bought these was after a few minutes on my bike my hands were aching like crazy the grip puppies made a HUGE difference my hands weren’t aching at all. I highly recommend them and wouldn’t ride without them now. I installed them on my Honda CB650R black edition and think they look really cool too. After buying the universal version I noticed they’re are Honda specific one’s I don’t know what the difference would be as they look the same but these are perfect.

Easy to fit

Big struggle to put them on UNTIL I soaked them in hot water for a bit, then they slid on with a just little effort. Their water proof so the heat just gave them a bit more flex. Went for a ride to Littlehampton today(88 mile round trip) and I didn't get any usual tingles in my hands, they take away a lot of the vibrations you usually get through the handlebars + thet extra 2/3mm width makes the grips much more cumftable and eaiser to hold so less fatique in the hands..Nice. Made from rubber, which grips very well, with a cusion material on the outer, no need to remove the original grips as these go straight over the top. Fully recommended for any motorbike be it long distance or short trips.

Grip Puppies arrived promptly and were fitted with ease, little bit of soapy water and they were sorted. Went for a ride (before UK lock down) and found them to be very comfortable. I did however feel a bit "detached" from the bike, I'm sure I will get used to this feeling and adjust fine. All in all a good product, hopefully they will last and I'll come to love em.

GREAT PRODUCT

I purchased these for my Triumph Tiger 800xrt to reduce some high frequency vibrations noticeable on longer motorway rides. Having read some reviews and advice on fitting them I got some hot water and soap, warmed the puppy in the soapy water and on it went - HOWEVER - the soap definitely leaves a residue that makes the puppy twist a bit on the bike grip. For the second one I warmed it up in hot water but didn't use any soap - went on perfectly and doesn't twist on the grip. I would suggest you try to put on without any soap first and only use the soap if you can't get it on otherwise. The anti-vibration element does help a little bit with my thick adventure winter gloves although it makes it quite a big grip to hold. Their real improvement to me is when using with my thinner summer gloves - it is much more conformable to hold the grips and vibration suppression is much more noticeable.

I was after reducing the handle bar vibes from my single cylinder adventure bike, I considered this product and grip buddy. I am overall satisfied despite some reservation. PROS: - cheaper the grip buddy - one piece tube, no joining required - has reduced the vibe in the grip although I have not been on long rides to properly evaluate - does not get too wet and seems to dry fairly quickly CONS: - depending on the size of your grip, it can be extremely difficult to slide it on and make sure the bike is secured in case you need to put a lot of force pushing it on (as was in my case!) - the overall grip diameter increase by almost 10 mm which is a big increase. This may end up too big to be comfortable. In my case I am just about ok - it does get wet, more like cloth but not soaking wet like sponge and seems to dry quickly. This was after washing the bike, I have not used it in the rain yet

Es una buena opcion si tienes los puños gastados, se coloca facilmente con agua jabonosa, tendras que costar 1cm aprox con un cutter, tomatelo con calma para hacerlo bien de medida y que quede recto, tambien se puede hacer con unas tijeras de cocina. El resultado final es stisfactorio, yo de guantes suelo utilizar talla XL, el puño que mas grueso, no mucho pero se nota, si usas una talla M de guante, yo no lo recomendaria

Die oben genannten Komfortgriffe sind bei mir zwar nach 2 Saisons durch. Aber über die Qualität und vor allem Haptik dieser Griffe kann und darf ich mich nicht beschweren. Sind sehr einfach zu montieren. Sehr angenehmes Griffgefühl. Rutschfest auch bei Regenfahrten. Und auch mit der Griffheizung haben diese Griffe keine Probleme. Somit Kaufempfehlung und Daumen hoch.
