Purchased a number of OXO utensil products and very pleased with design quality and size. The photos shown don’t do the product justice, so if your looking for something above standard, then OXO is worth a shout.

At first use, I was thinking this may be a bit larger than I had hoped for - especially the overall length. But after a few uses I appreciated its size. The drain slots are close together so that you can easily drain most any food item - noodles, frozen veggies, etc., without danger of food slipping through the openings. It has worked wonderfully for ramen noodles. The long handle is easy to grip and keeps your hand far from the hot water when draining items. And, I no longer need to take the colander down from the cabinet, set it in the sink to drain the item, wash it out, dry it and then return it to the cabinet. With my new spider strainer I can drain items easily without setting anything down, or fear of being burned, and then do a quick rinse and I am good to go. Easy - Peasy. This was a good purchase.

As one would expect with OXO, good quality. It is sturdy and exactly what I wanted.

I really like this colander, it’s a moderate size that is useful yet stores easily. It has a quality, sturdy feel. The holes are narrow enough that most things I drain do not fall through the holes. Very pleased with this purchase.
