Good set of wood shade colours in the pack. It needs slight heat on colder days to apply easily (I used a candle lighter to warm the wax). I used on window boards to hide nails and small cracks. Matching is good, but if using oils or other wood treatment you may need to go a shade darker as it will tend to lighten the wax. Applicator useful for working into the wooden surface, but wax was easy to sand to smooth finish with light grade (flour) paper. Highly recommended product.

I bought a new desk. I had to screw the desk top to the base. Foolishly, because I knew I had to do that, I presumed that there would be no pre-drilled holes, so I didn’t bother to check both sides of the top. I made the desk. To my horror, the manufacturer had created a series of holes along 3 sides of the desk. I’m not sure why as they didn’t correspond with the positioning of the legs. Maybe accessories (which didn’t come with the desk) Anyway, I had a desk with 24 x 3mm pre-drilled holes. Not the end of the world but I bought this product to see if I could at least mask the presence of the holes. It definitely works. On some of the holes I have blended 2 or 3 of the colours to get a match but overall I’m very pleased with the result. The holes have virtually disappeared and to someone who woukdnt know, they’d be hard-pressed to find them. I can definitely recommend this product for filling holes as well as dealing with cracks and scratches. I meant to take a before photo but I’ve uploaded an after to show the result. It’s an extreme close-up. I need to blend the top hole a little more but I have blended the 2 below which are now very hard to spot. It gives you an idea of what this product can do. From a distance even the top one, as it currently is and without blending , is much better than having an open hole

Mixed results, the wax is hard and difficult to work in with a tendency of coming out when it dries hard and shrinks; rather than integrating to the wood. Also for scratches and gouges the colour waxes seen not to hide them. Better for deep dents. The applicator tool is really nice esp in helping to remove excess wax effectively.

Was ok

Had quite a few dents in my floor so decided to give this a go. Really easy to use once you get the hang of it. It’s quite addictive! Clean up around the dents is hard though as it does leave wax residue.

Simple to use and looks good when applied, good color match making the repair almost invisible

This stuff is a nightmare. Used it on a quality white painted wood style laminate floor to fill tiny cracks and a couple of long hairline scratches. It is just wax so imagine what happened within a couple of days of walking on it - any dirt immediately sticks to it and it looks like the floor is filthy and makes the scratches stand out even more. Not only that but as it is just soft wax and not sealed it gets onto the bottom of shoes and ends up leaving marks all over your floor. Just rubbish - don't use it.
