A real disappointment. Such poor quality. First impressions out of the bag, silver flacking off the metal, very cheap keys. On trying to fit, one screw/bolt was a loose fit but it did at least fit. The other screw/bolt was badly machined, no matter how it was positioned it would not fit in either tapped hole. FAIL. I seriously considered returning it to Amazon. I then tried the locking part, which slides up the flat notched bar. If you lock it, and pull with medium force, it just slides away over the notches. FAIL. As mentioned in other posts, this would only work on glass that's (AT LEAST) 5mm apart. It is usable, as I've found, if you tap a new threaded hole for the bolts, then file the teeth to allow the lock to grip the notches, fit some felt to stop the main lock from scratching the glass, oh and wire brush the flaking silvered finish. Best avoid.

The curve in the bar prevented me from being able to fit it between the panes of glass.
