One of the best purchases to date. This occupies my dog for a good time and he loves it. I cheat and break up treats so he gets the same amount but looks more but he is now a pro with this and even showing the rest of the family dogs how it's done

This was so easy to assemble. After a quick was, it was up and ready for the first game! My 8 year old dog is generally very clever and the video shows how I did a basic introduction. You should have seen him 2 time round and ever since - he spins the tube with his paw and watches as the little treat pops out. I use Pet Munchies little square treats, which fall out nicely - I tried a little meat and a dried sweet potato treat, but the Pet Munchies square has the perfect texture to not stick to the inside of the tube. Bear sometimes focusses on one tube so I remind him to check the others and while the game is over quickly, I can add some more treats and he can try again. He concentrates as I can see his little brow furrow, and he gets really excited about having a go! This is great as brain work is tiring! I'm impressed as there are only the 3 tubes to clean. But the centre pole has to be undone and the tubes removed, unless you can dunk in your sink, which it would fit in mine. My puppy (who's 10 months) wasn't keen, but then he hasn't developed the intelligence that Bear has yet. He was not sure about it and I think I will have to spend a while teaching him how to use it. All in all, I am really happy, as is Bear. It's so lovely watching him enjoy this game because the suspense as to when the treat will pop out is written all over his face and of course, he then has to see where it lands! Great for brain work, sniffing and using paws or noses to spin. A birthday success for him!

The puzzle I was sent was clearly used. The base was covered with dark dog hairs (I have a white dog), so I had to clean it properly before use. Didn't return because the price was great. Puzzle itself is very sturdy and well made. Dog really enjoys it and has already mastered it

Has a nut missing- the box was damaged and not fully sealed, there was a little ziplock bag that the nuts could have been placed in with the screws and extra caps. So this may have been a returned item. It seems sturdy and something the dogs might enjoy. I'll have to find a nut before I can use it.

Used to slow up feeding time with small biscuits. She has to work for her tea, she has to spin the tubes for the biscuits to fall out. Holes big and small tops screw on to make it easy or hard. Well used in our household for the dogs. Very sturdy product.

I bought this for our 4 month GSD puppy, The base is quite small so it's top heavy and tends to fall over quite a lot but we got round this by putting a brick on top of the base. We started off putting treats in the pots without lids and after she worked out that her tongue wouldn't reach the treats at the bottom, she tried to spin the pots with her mouth. Unfortunately, once she'd had all the treats, she chewed the top edge of the pots. She eventually progressed to the lids with the smallest holes but again, would chew the lids if she ran out of treats before we noticed. After some time the lids and pots were so badly chewed that the lids would no longer screw on. I e-mailed Trixie expecting to be able to buy replacement pots and lids but they told me the only spare they sold was the metal rod that goes through lids - ironically the only part that's unlikely to be chewed!! I was very disappointed that in this current age of save the planet, I would have to totally discard the whole thing and buy another. Obviously, I won't be replacing it and I won't be buying any more products from Trixie either. Such a shame.

Keeps him busy and it’s fun I put his dry food in it

My dog is very smart and we always have problems finding something that lasts a little while. We’ve done the other puzzles from Trixie and he solves them very fast. This doesn’t seem very hard to solve, but it takes him about 30 minutes to get all the food out. I vary the pieces so they are different sizes and that also makes it harder for him to get them all out. I imagine a big dog would tip it over easily, but my small dog doesn’t. However my other dog doesn’t like it all 😂 so you need a dog that’s quite motivated.

Ich hätte ehrlich nicht gedacht, dass unser Chihuahua mit diesem Spielzeug so gut klarkommt – vor allem wegen der Größe. Umso größer war unsere Überraschung: Schon nach kurzer Zeit hatte er den Dreh raus und war kaum noch davon wegzubekommen. Besonders lustig war, dass das ganz normale Trockenfutter plötzlich völlig uninteressant wurde. Stattdessen wurde lieber getüftelt, ausprobiert und mit Begeisterung „gearbeitet“, bis jedes einzelne Stückchen verdient war. Das Spielzeug sorgt für sinnvolle Beschäftigung, Denkspaß und sichtbar gute Laune. Unser kleiner Vierbeiner ist motiviert, ausdauernd und stolz auf sein Ergebnis. Für uns ein voller Erfolg – klare Empfehlung und verdiente 5 Sterne.
