4Patriots Patriot Power Sidekick: Mini Solar Generator Powers Phones, Laptops, & CPAP with 40W Solar Panel

I was very happy to receive this unit, looks well-made and would meet my need for a small power unit. However, I fully charged the unit to 100% and put it away in a closet (cool dark). Twenty (20) days later I checked the unit power level and it only had 21% power left? What's the use of having standby power if there is insufficient charge when you need it. My Inergy unit can and does hold its power level dropping only a few percentage points after 4 months of no use. Waiting to hear back from 4Patriot. Follow-up to first unit: 4Patriots sent me a replacement (exchange) unit that is functioning properly. Twenty days later unit still at 100% (YAY!) Because I purchased through Amazon directly the exchange was a little more cumbersome obtaining a return shipping label, but 4 Patriots was great to work with otherwise...so I give them 5 stars instead of 1.

This is Not a good product -I used it one time for 2 hours and it WILL NOT RECHARGE none of the attachment wires work - I tried to get in touch with Patriot and then Amazon with ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE FROM EITHER. I am out over $500.00 so buyer beware- Phyllis Paciulli

Used for power at camp out and reliable for running radio and fan all night

I was so excited to find something that would help with safely powering a space heater for my mother's drafty room. Surely if it can handle a refrigerator! Not ONLY did it not handle the heater, it wouldn't work at all! I tried charging my cell phone and nothing. I was on with the 4Patriots team, and he was baffled! He DID confirm that the refrigerators are small, not full sized and that space heaters required a stronger, more expensive model which I want interested in. 4Patriots couldn't have been nicer. I was cool with it being a bad unit and proceeded with my return, which Amazon has noted before I purchased it. What I didn't know was that even as a Prime member, I would have to pay to ship it back! I've been back and forth with Team Spirit for over a month about this and, while they've refunded my order plus tax and a $10 shipping refund, I'm still left with a shipping charge of over $40 for their broken item! I doubt that I'll have a reason to do biz with this vendor again, but be careful with this one!

This product has been used just a few times and now will not charge. Called 4 Patriots and because I purchased the item from amazon website, Patriots will not even send me the owner's manual to try and figure out the issue. Patriots tech support will not help either simply because I purchased the item from amazon. This item cost in total $590 and no one will stand behind the product. Regardless of what web site the product was purchased from, it is still a 4 patriots product that they refuse to stand behind or even help figure it out. I am not asking for anything free here, just some help as to what may be the issue. incredibly disappointed in 4 patriots.... terrible customer support to say the least.

It is a solar battery charger that does not hold a charge. I got taken advantage of by this person who sold me a defective product.

I bought mine as a packaged deal with the 4patriots 1800. What I hate about my sidekick is from day 1 I can't charge my gadgets when it's under 50%. It acts like it's out of charge and shuts down and cannot be turned on again until you charge it again. I was charging a power brick and when the sidekick reached 43% it shut down. Would not turn on again until I charged it again. There is no reset button anywhere I could see in case this was some sort of glitch. Frustrating..... it was supposed to be brand new. I looked everywhere online for this issue and found none, or at least nobody is talking about it. 🤔 Wonder if this happens to anyone else? I did not buy it on Amazon. Bought it directly from 4patriots. They were not much help.
