Kills rust dead
What can you say about this product. It does what it says on the bottle for a far cost and a name you can trust. Clean the rust bubbles off the metal then paint this on and the chemical reaction will stop the rust coming back. Not a large bottle but you don’t need a lot. Used on a 1958 Morris Minor door bottle.

have used this before
good stuff one coat seems to do the job but instructions state 2/3 coats so thats what i did. had to get loose rust off first and finish with a quick go with sand or emery paper

Good value
Good quantity. Was just enough to treat all the rust on my garage door.

Inconsistent finish
Have used extensively on my van, bike and other metal objects where there has been the presence of rust to convert. Found the results are inconstant. Applies well but doesn't seem to fully convert the rust unless you are able to apply either a thick or multiple layers. The pain on solutions work better if able to reach. The finish vs the value of this is a bit pricey.

Does what it’s supposed to do
Really good product use this for several projects you can feel that it has done what it was intended for that is to seal and create a better surface over the rust feel confident that when you prime and finish the job it should last. The other thing is that you can clean your brushes with water not having to use a solvent definitely a plus for the environment 👍

Quick Acting
Brill. Brush straight on, dries in minutes...rusted metal gone. Used on metal gates before painting, under the car and other metal surfaces. WARNING do not screw lid back on the jar if there's some product on the rim of the glass jar you'll never unscrew the lid. Cover jar with cling film or similar to use again if you don't use the whole jar in one go... Learnt through experience !

Neutralized the rust on my samsung wahing machine perfectly after scrubbing with a wire brush and sanding. It will dry to a rubbery finish and be difficult to sand so make sure you apply think coats and only on the areas with bare metal, clean up any over application before on dries. unfortunately my project was ruined by an awful appliance spray paint so I had to buy a new washer anyways but seriously, this stuff really impressed me.

I don't really know if it could work or not in the application that I used. There had been a leak coming from under our free standing bathtub which caused rust damage under the edge of the tub & a small part on the bottom edge of the tub. When the plumbers fixed the leak & then put the tub back in place I painted the bottom edge with this product prior to caulking around the bottom edge of the tub but I couldn't reach the areas under the tub. The rust came through because the caulk is fairly wet so I had to remove the caulk again. I ended up using a peel & stick roll of a caulk type product which is dry to hide the damage to the bottom edge of the tub.
