Great canteen! Drinks stay cold.
I coach youth sports, and recently I was bemoaning the perennial challenge of how to bring to our games enough volume of chilled beverages to hydrate my son and myself (and the occasional player who shows up without a water bottle). Plastic water bottles don't retain cold temperatures, and though we own a few smaller versions of this sort of thermos/canteen/flask (16 oz perhaps), bringing just one never provides enough liquid, and carrying two or three seems ungainly. So I was delighted when I happened upon the 67 oz Hydrapeak. I snapped a photo of it and bought it online that evening. (I'm frugal, so I spent about 30 minutes searching online for the lowest price, and though I can usually find a merchant cheaper than Amazon -- eBay, anyone? -- Amazon surprised me by having the lowest price, which at that time (August 2019) was $29.90. I have owned the 67 oz Hydrapeak for about 5 weeks now, and I am very satisfied with the investment. Drinks stay cold, as one would hope. I fill the bottom 1/6 with ice, and then typically add a mix of water and lemonade, and the drink stays cold for at least 8 hours. I've also occasionally drunk from the mix the next day (since we don't always drink the full 67 oz at games) and I would describe the next-day-temperature as cool rather than cold. The 1/6 of ice (blended with liquid) melts by maybe 4-5 hours. As for its design, I personally like that the opening from which one drinks is quite wide -- 2 1/4 inches diameter -- because (a) I can get big swigs/gulps at a time, (b) I can fit a cleaning brush or handled cleaning sponge inside to clean it, and (c) the water residue after washing it evaporates reasonably quickly. Some owners may wish it had more of a straw top from which to sip: children, for example, and adults stuck at Freud's "oral (sucking) phase." By my 11-year-old drinks from it about as well as I do, which is to say we both ONLY OCCASIONALLY spill on ourselves in the haste of a ball game or on the bumpy car ride home. The body of this thing, at 4 1/4 inches in diameter, may be difficult to hold with one hand for those with smaller (read: non grown-up male) hands, but hey, hold it with two hands and you'll be fine. The exterior is quite attractive (I opted for black). The only two ways in which this Hydrapeak 67 oz bottle is not perfect for our needs are (1) it's quite heavy, and (2) the cap twists off completely rather than remaining attached to the bottle via a plastic loop. The heaviness probably cannot be rectified (quality materials can be heavy), but the makers could have enabled the cap to remain connected to the bottle upon opening, thus preventing dropping or losing the cap. Oh well, perhaps a future redesign will remedy this. Bottom line: Great canteen!! And hey, if 67 oz is too heavy for you or too cumbersome to transport (it is too wide for a car's drink holder), Hydrapeak does sell a 32 oz version that just might hit the sweet spot for you.

Great bottle, but heavy for some folks
So I bought this for my mom about a year ago because she was always complaining about her water getting warm. She absolutely loved it at first - kept raving about how her water stayed ice cold all day, even in the Santo Domingo heat. The thing definitely works. Insulation is legit. Build quality is solid too, survived plenty of drops without a scratch. No leaks, easy to clean, holds a ton of water so you’re not constantly refilling. If weight isn’t an issue for you, this is a solid choice. Keeps drinks cold forever and built like a tank. Just know what you’re getting into size-wise.

This is the largest capacity water bottle at the smallest size
I have struggled to find a large water bottle that I can take anywhere with me and actually drink with one hand when it's full. This is the best option I have found, it's a great price, and it really works well and keeps your beverage at the correct temperature for a long time. A lot of company's make great 40oz water bottles, but this is the best 64oz I have found. Great value for the money. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent hot water to go
Purchased to replace one I had from TjMaxx that was dropped on its head causing premature death. Keeps hot water hot for at least 24 hours especially if you heat the thermos with hot tap water first then add your drink. Beyond 24 hours water definitely remains very warm just not scalding. Like all thermoses of this type once you reduce the volume of liquid it begins to cool.I also have the Stanley thermos and recently tested which is hotter after 14 hours. The Stanley was hotter but the size is huge and not as easy to carry. It should be noted I keep mine in a mildly thermal reusable shopper (the kind you get from super market checkouts for cold goods in summer). I use this to keep them from leaking (no problem yet) and to keep them from exposure to car AC. I also have a smaller Yeddi in the same shape as this, but I have had it seal shut with the vacuum and could not open it which defeats the purpose of hot water to go.I use these for tea and hot chocolete service for the family during road trips, the thermos holds enough water for at least 4 people.

One of the best water bottles out there
This water bottle keeps water cold for a long time, it is easy to clean and is very sturdy. I just had to buy a handle/strap for it which makes is easier to hold it since it is pretty large.

my favorite water bottle for life.
*my hand for size reference*okay, so i bought this water bottle for the first time in 2018 at a marshall's and it changed my life. it’s the perfect size to hold a day’s worth of water without being too heavy. ice will stay for about an hour or two, BUT your drink will be kept cold for HOURS- i’ve left it in a hot car and my water has still been ice cold.i lost mine and went on the hunt to repurchase and finally found it! this new model does have a better lid with drinking spout that i like very much!the only bad thing i have to say is that I HAD TO ORDER AND RETURN THIS BOTTLE 4 DIFFERENT TIMES BEFORE THE CORRECT SIZE AND COLOR WAS SENT TO ME! very frustrating! but, i love it so much i was not going to quit until i got it. product is amazing.

Keeps it cold
I leave this bottle in my car. Definitely keeps the water inside cool. But if your putting ice water in the bottle I’m sure that would stay cold cold for a longer period of time. But definitely works well.
