Pilau Rice Seasoning, 65g

I was sceptical about using this product, how close can I actually get my rice to the lovely flavour of my local restaurant. But I ordered it anyway to try and I’m so glad I did as it is fantastic! It’s so easy to use, sprinkle the amount required and just cook the rice as normal. It comes out with a lovely faint yellow colour and the flavour is fabulous. It also doesn’t make the rice consistency any different so I don’t need to worry about changing my cooking times. My whole family likes it too and dinners are now always finished. Our rice dishes is now not boring, they are brightened up and taste great. Another Schwartz seasoning success.

Not too much to say other than it is Schwartz pilau rice seasoning. I have used it for years, I like to buy dry rice and put in the seasoning to taste, not someone in a factory dishing only a certain amount. Also, my Husband doesn’t like any seasoning in his rice so he has it plain. So much cheaper than buying the awful stuff for a microwave. I have had trouble getting it lately from supermarkets so to find it here is great.

Pilau is my fave spice. It goes with so many dishes and it isn't hot like a lot of other spices.

Good value, just added a teaspoon per serving to basmati rice, frozen peas and water in my rice cooker, then added some chopped mushrooms towards the end of the cycle, with an extra teaspoon of turmeric. Came out perfectly and was amazing with a lamb balti (made with a jar of sharwoods balti sauce)

Got this for my wifes Kitchen Aid. Pleased with item does the job well and a nice looking product but perhaps would have been an idea to make the binding wipe-able as well, don't know yet as in fairness as I havnt wiped it!!. Item took a lot longer than the suggested 4-5 days delivery which meant it missed Birthday.

I liked the product it flavours the rice

This product delivers on the taste I had anticipated. Changing an otherwise bland boiled basmati rice into a senses explosion. Not to mention the aroma from the rice as it boils with the teaspoon of seasoning.. Yum.. you won't be disappointed. I certainly wasn't. Enjoy

Great product, great quality, lovely design and fits my kitchen aid almost perfectly. The sizing doesn't quite take the bowel guard into account and could be a little wider for a perfect fit. Still works well though and more than happy. Good value for money.
