Q: Can this be used to control 3 seperate up/down pillar wall lights, I dont want to have to buy 1 per light ?

I've no special electrical expertise, but I think if all the lights were on the same circuit connected to this sensor it ought to work perfectly well. The sensor would simply turn the whole circuit on automatically as the light level fell at dusk and then cut off once the period you'd set it for (say, 4 hours) had expired. I hope that helps!

Q: Anyone used it to control a low wattage led bulb (4w), i.e. without the glow/flashing issues that electronic switches typically have?

I am using these units with 3W LED (non dimmable type) bulbs without a problem. I think the units have a relay inside so you have clean contacts i.e not an electronic switch.

Q: Is there an instruction manual that will remind me how to extend the time that the lights stay on???

You just turn the dial. Marked in 2 hour intervals, 2,4 6 etc. Turn dial to the length if time you want. Mine is set for 2 hours tho extend it for family parties etc

Hi, Just got this item, installed it, and the unit will not pass 240v out, even then the sensor is fully covered.
