A very helpful book written in an easy to understand format. The author is very knowledgable and gives great advise.

I am a CPA with a fair bit of tax experience in my prior career. This book provides a good - though now dated - overview of tax structures and tactics and techniques that remain generally applicable 6-7 years after the book was written. The book is NOT designed for a CPA nor for the "do it yourselfer" tax preparer. It is a good overview and will provide you with the information you need to ask your CPA the right questions, to think about issues and tactics when looking at a real estate transaction, and understand the opportunities. A good resource.

Sandy Botkin is one of the best in making the complex simple and easy. I have also purchased his tape seminars online. An indispensable guide if you prepare taxes or just want to be aware of the best tax strategies available. His other book - Lower your taxes - big time - is also a MUST HAVE!

I definitely suggest reading this book.

This book started out really well. very useful and informative and i enjoyed what i read until i got to the end and the last 40 pages were missing. contacted the publisher who said deal with amazon. contact amazon, asked them to replace the book with one that had the full text only to receive the same thing missing 40 pages. The book over all was great (what i did get to read) however amazon and the publisher certainly did not help fix their mistake.
