Pleasantly surprised.I knew I had to use D8 mode for this, but I was expecting to forego telemetry as a result (I know there's an OSD, but I like to switch that off sometimes for more "cinematic" DVR footage). I checked for sensors, and behold, vbat and rssi! This means I can have the OSD on a switch, and have Amber tell me if there's anything to worry about.Most people are getting brushless whoops "nowadays", but this still has its place. Being in a small terraced house means brushless ones can be a bit... unmanageable? I suppose throttle limits are a thing, but then you're spending extra for a 'better' motor and not using it to its fullest.Plus the 0716 motors on this are fine for outdoors anyway, as long as it's not too windy.I haven't applied any "Project Mockingbird" settings to this yet. The stock settings are fairly good, though it's my first "whoop" so I can't really compare it to anything similar.

How it performs. It flies well so no complaints regarding performance. I have updated the BF firmware to 3.5.0 and used the Mockingbird tune with good results. It is the best brushed whoop I have owned. 716 motors are definitely where it's at for 65mm frames, much more power and response than 615s, but I do recommend using HV batts for extra juice. I contacted Betafpv about this and they apologised and are offering me a Z02 cam at 99% off.The F4 board is supposed to be bindable on eu Taranis firmware D16, but I could only get D8 to work (non-eu). Betafpv apologised for this also, but there is nothing really to be done about it, and it does work so I can't really complain.So it seems I got an old version of this micro, which Betafpv apologised for. They were quick to respond to my query and keen to sort out the issue. On top of the camera upgrade offer they are going to send me some additional coupons for extra bits. So on the whole I'm happy with this whoop and with Betafpv support.

Loads of fun, flies nicely. I have had issues with the vtx overheating and video cutting out after 15-20 mins, and with the vtx connection to the flight controller. The connection was an easy fix, but the overheating required a replacement 65s.

Great little flyer straight out of the box. Not had so much fun and great for those wet and windy days when you can’t get out of the house.Great as it comes with OSD. took me about 5 mins to set up and start flying.Great advice on web site for binding and great camera.Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to fly indoors or want to start to learn to fly bigger quads it was in to whoop racing.Love it

Very slow, on my third. 2 I've sent back and the 3rd I'm sending back also. Flew ok for a few days then just wigs out and becomes uncomfortable or unflyable. Not happy at all. Sending it back to get the mobula 7 instead.

Pretty decent little quad. Decent battery included, osd is a nice touch and motors seem to have plenty of pop. Still all stock so far, and stock tune, but does exactly what is says on the tin.

It was good on the first flight and now the drone doesnt wanna arm anymore. Definitely wasnt worth the money.

I purchased a few of these now and set them all up with mockingbird and they fly absolutly fantastic and great fun with fpv also. 5 stars from me.
