It seems fine to me, the usual mix of listening, writing, reading exercises with grammar drills. As with Willkommen 1 the material is presented in a lively and modern way. You don't feel as if you're reading something about Germany 10 years ago. There's lots of material about German history, geography, culture and politics. Everything is clearly explained and the exercises are useful. The only annoyance is that the accompanying CD isn't accompanying; you have to buy it separately.
