A happy five-year-old
My great grandson is five years old. Absolutely loves this little fish and rod and Seat. In fact, his mom told me that he was practicing casting his rod across his bed. Then his grandfather took him fishing and he took it with him and he loved it. He caught a fish and I got a picture of it.

Perfect gift for a 10-year-old!
This was a birthday present for my friend’s 10-year-old son, and he absolutely loved it. He enjoys fishing with his dad, and this kit made him even more excited. Great quality, easy to use, and perfect for young beginners!

Great Bargain!
I bought this for my 6 year old grandson. Everything was really nice - the rod, reel, net, lures, carrying bag. He feels like a grown-up and not a little kid like he did with his Spider-Man rod and reel. The tackle box was a little small and flimsy but overall for the price this product is a great bargain! Now my son wants one. He is 51.

Disappointing
The rod and reel is cheap and flimsy and so is the bag the set comes in. I was very disappointed in the item. I should have just ordered my grandson a regular adult rod and reel, but he is just 5, and I thought this looked like a good beginner set. I bought a small tackle box and trashed the flimsy bag this was in.
