I have had two of these timers, which I've used for my bearded dragon's heat lamp and UVB lamp. They are very useful, and I've found them very easy to set up. However, I thought I had problems with my second one. There were no problems, but I wanted to highlight a mistake I made. If you set the program to come on, after the 'on' time, do not expect to plug it in, and the electrical device to be on. If you plug it in, after the 'off' time, it will be ready to come on at the next 'on' time. This may sound like common sense to most people, but it didn't to me!

It’s the easiest timer to set or if you make a mistake, it’s just as easy to correct without having to start all over again. 👍

Doesn’t work, returned,,first one only lasted a year, hopeless

I use this timer to set radio programmes and to programme lamps to come on when I'm out of the house. It is simple to set, has 10 time settings, and you just connect the required gadget and then plug into a normal socket. It has a built-in battery and I just leave it plugged in ready to use as required.

Worked without fault for 1 year and 6 months but now it immediately trips itself the moment it turns on. Even does this when manually turning it on and not using the auto timer.I need a replacement but will not be buying this again, it seems a lot of the alternatives a repackaged versions of this item with the readout and controls appearing the same just in a different shell. So hard to find a quality, lasting product on Amazon now.Other than it breaking after less than a year and a half, it did its job.Completely silent other than the click when it turns on.Controls are fiddly, follow the instructions.

I've had two timers the same as this one for over 25 years and they've worked perfectly all that time. Unfortunately two days ago I dropped one of them on a tiled floor and broke it, so needed a replacement quickly. This one was delivered yesterday and is identical to the one that broke so I just got it set up and plugged in without having to read the instructions. They are very versatile, and if you have it set to auto for a heater as I do, and the timer is in the ON phase, you can turn off the heater by repeatedly pressing the ON/AUTO/OFF button until you hear a click and then once more to set it back to auto, and the heater won't come on again until the next timer setting. Hope that makes sense. You can also set the timer for individual days or the whole week. Brilliant little timer.
