Franklin Sports Softball Glove - Windmill Fastpitch Pro Series

I picked this up specifically because I joined an Underdog softball league and needed a glove that was affordable but functional. I didn't want to drop a ton of money on professional-grade gear just to play recreationally, and this ended up being the perfect choice. It felt comfortable right out of the box and didn't require a long, stiff break-in period like some of the more expensive leather options, so I was game-ready immediately. Beyond just getting the job done on the field, I really love the design. It is actually super cute, which is a nice bonus for sporting equipment. If you are just starting out, joining a beer league, or need an extra glove for playing catch, you really can't beat the value here. It catches the ball just fine and looks good doing it.

Fairly stiff for a synthetic glove and obviously doesn’t have that great leather smell. Has a well made pocket, nicely laced, pretty color scheme, well padded but what is the durability of this type of product? Takes a fair amount of hand strength to close the glove but probably could play immediately if you like a stiff feel. Good choice for a first glove or looking for a specific color scheme.

I bought this glove to help my daughter practice for the upcoming softball season, and I couldn’t be happier with it. My daughter loves her bag. It has enough room for her towel, spare clothes, water bottle, and snack. Plus, more! Has enough room on the sides for up to four bats. The snap across the chest is helpful for her when we walk to the field. It helps balance the weight out.

I can't speak to the usability and durability of this for serious softball players, but for a mama who just wants to practice with her kid, this was a good glove for me. Comfortable, still required some breaking in, but worked well.

Glove is nice and soft. Strap over wrist tightens for snugger fit. Fits my 8 year old daughter. Happy with product.
