When I first opened this, I thought it was a little small, but when I put it in the bath, it was actually the perfect size.This comes with a little screwdriver, which makes opening the panel to put batteries in, so much nicer, as you only have to get batteries.Just put batteries in (3xAAA) and as soon as it touches the water, it activates the sensors and away you go.You get four things to place on top for you to control how and which way the water comes out of it. Five if you don't put anything on the top, as the water still comes out.It lights up and my little one is only five months old, but he loved it. Bath time is his favourite, so I'm trying to get bath toys that will make it an even better experience for him.

This is a really cute little bath toy. We have an 18 month old and he loves the fountains and the colours - he has bashed it around quite a bit as well and it still works!It’s a simple thing, but I also like the fact that a small screwdriver is included to open and close the battery case. No messing around looking for one and the case can’t be opened by kids and is waterproof.Overall a well designed and nicely thought-out product…highly recommended.

The media could not be loaded.  I'd rate it five stars but two of the creatures is a tight fit and won't spin round. It does turn the octopus round though. The motor needs a few seconds to reach its full potential. It's water activated and responds well to being in and out the water.It's the best bath toy we own.Thank you

this is such a funny toy for the bath, lights up and sprays the bathwater out the top, it made bathtime funny for the baby lol.. decently made and easy to use

This is a fun ‘splashy’ bath toy. Takes 3 x AAA batteries in a compartment that is embedded deep into the unit with a rubber seal around it. Comes with a small crosshead screwdriver to open the compartment. The battery compartment is shaped so it will be obvious if it’s being installed the wrong way. The toy lights up multiple colours, doesn’t make any sounds other than the whirr of the pump. You can get a good height with the spray as pictured and the different attachments makes it fun to experiment with the types of fountains it makes. Fun and compact bath toy.

This is a wonderful bath toy for a young child and our granddaughter absolutely loves it! Just install the 3 AAA batteries, then switch it on and place it in the bath and watch the Octopus squirt water out of it's nozzle and enjoy the mesmerising light-up effects, such a great toy to add a bit fun to bath time.
