Got this for my husband as he had seen it on a YouTube post and they recommended it. They work great and would recommend for anyone who prepares fresh shrimp at home.

They really do cut the shrimp nicely and then you can get the vein out easily.

I also purchased this item based on the recommendation from “Americas Test Kitchen” As all of the items they review are tested by a host of their workers and studio members It’s well made and very sharp

I bought this after watching America’s Test Kitchen/Cooks Country recommended it. Deveining shrimp is not a favorite task so this appealed to me. And it works! Easy to use and effective. I highly recommend this kitchen tool whether you’re cleaning six shrimp or three dozen shrimp.

I am a crustaceans lover who thought I wouldn't be able to crack my own crab when my hands got arthritis. Sitting at a crab eating party kinda sucks if you have to wait for someone to feel sorry for you and give you a little. These scissors make opening up a crab much much easier. The smallness and curvature of the blade don't mess up the payload! It doesn't keep you from getting bit by the spines though. Oh well.

Saw these reviewed on America's Test Kitchen so had to try them. I cook with a lot of fresh shrimp in the shell and while the veins don't bother the hubby and I, they can gross out guests. These scissors are GREAT. They make a clean cut down the back (after the head is removed). It's easy to remove the vein and they don't tear up the shrimp. I've even deveined like this and left the rest of the shell on for a shrimp boil and the shell stayed intact thru cooking. This is one of those products you think you don't need...and then after you use them you LOVE them.

Bought these to speed up shelling shrimp, good design but not quite sharp enough to do the job faster than by hand or with regular shears. Not disappointed based on price point however, just wish they worked more efficiently
