I use toner, serums, and ampoules daily - but not essences. I was curious to try one and Lancome is known for luxury beauty products. I now use this after my toner and before my serums.The bottle itself feels luxurious - tall glass that feels nice in my hands. I like that there's a built in stopper to help prevent too much product from dispensing at once. The thickness of the liquid was much thinner than I expected. It was similar to some of my toners (I have one thicker toner). I initially tried pouring this onto a cotton ball for application, only to discover that the cotton ball absorbed all of the product and none got onto my face! After that, I used my palms to gently pat the product on. It's very lightly scented (like money? Hahaha) - lightly floral. I've only been using this for a week or two so I can't say that it's making my pores smaller yet.This is a luxury beauty products with a luxury price to match.

I have been using this product for about a week. I was eager to try it because, well, who wouldn’t want to try something from such a well-regarded company like Lancôme?The essence comes in a large glass bottle that has a disk at the top to prevent too much fluid from flowing out when you dispense it. The fluid is clear and thin; just a touch thicker than plain water. I used it after cleansing my face. It was quickly absorbed. I then proceeded with my normal skin care routine; eye cream, etc.Since I began using it I cannot say that my facial pores are any smaller, which was one of the benefits I was looking for. My skin does look a bit brighter and more hydrated but perhaps it is too soon to see clear evidence of it benefits. I find that it is a good base upon which to apply my make up. And it is neither astringent or irritating, Although I realize that I am not using this essence as part of a total Lancôme regimen, I will continue to use it to see further changes.

I’ve been using this product for a couple of weeks, and noticed results after the first. It’s the best skincare primer I’ve used. It absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin feeling supple, and lays the foundation for the rest of my skincare regimen. It has the consistency of water, but unlike water, it’s absorbed by your skin. I’ve noticed this product has given my skin smoother, tighter feeling skin, as well as diminishing the size of my pores. The bottle is decent in size, and not much is needed to provide full coverage. With that being said, I still feel this product is steep in price, and will steer people away from buying a wonderful product. I wish I could rate the price, and quality of the product separately because I love the results I am seeing.

I’ve yet to meet the lotion, conditioner, mask, moisturizer, hydrating product, serum, cream, or magical device from the Far East that could transform my face the way most of these products claim. These days I just look for a product that feels good going on, doesn’t smell bad, makes my skin feel soft and smooth and gives my psyche a little lift. This is that product.It has a slight scent that I feel neutral about. It is quite watery. I have used other similar products that I feel are just as good for less money. You’re probably just paying extra for the brand name here. But sometimes it feels good to know you’re getting good quality. Could even get more expensive shopping around. And there is something about trusted brand name products that gives all of our psyches a lift.

It’s a sheet mask for your face. Like, insanely overpriced sheet mask for your face. I’ve used tons of sheet masks at all price points. This one is not special enough to warrant such an high price on a single use item. I guess if you like throwing money away, go for it.

I like how my skin looks and feels when using this product. I feel the moisturizing property immediately and its purpose is to allow your other skin products to absorb better during your skin care routine, so that is a plus. However, I haven’t used a product like this in my particular routine before and for the price, I’m not sure that it has made that big a difference for me.

I really liked this product, at least at first, before I knew much about it. The bottle has a very luxurious look and feel to it and I enjoy using the essence itself. I think it has been effective, too. Easy to use, with no funky odor or tacky feeling left behind. I should love this stuff. But I can't. Lancôme isn't a cruelty-free company. Their products are sprayed into the eyes of innocent and immobilized cats and rabbits--even though there's absolutely no need for such torture. I can't support such cruelty, so I certainly don't recommend this product. And that's a shame.
