Fabric is actually of a nicer quality than I expected.

As advertized. These are not high end hand made curtains, but an affordable and nice alternative. We got navy blue ones, and they are a true dark blue, in both sides. The fabric is thin and malleable but still blocks light well. Being soft, they hang nicely and the folds appear easily. There is a bit of wrinkling, but much less than the 2 other types of curtains we had ordered and returned. The wrinkling should resolve itself with time. These are not stiff, thick and heavy, so are easily pulled. The grommets allow for ease of sliding as well. I would buy these again!

I bought the Joydeco Blackout Patio Sliding Door Curtains (84") as a creative solution to divide a room for my two teenagers. As a divorced dad, I needed a way to give each of them a little more privacy while they shared a space, and these worked out perfectly with a simple divider system. The curtains are thick, durable, and feel well made, especially for the price point. They hang nicely and definitely create the sense of two separate spaces, which has been a huge win for our household. As blackout curtains, they do a solid job, but I wouldn’t call them 100% blackout. They block most of the light, but during the day some sunlight still filters through—enough that I’d compare it to the glow of a small nightlight. For everyday use, that’s not a dealbreaker at all, but if you’re someone who works mid-shift and absolutely needs total darkness to sleep, you might want to consider something heavier duty. Overall, for what I needed—a practical, affordable, and well-made divider that also cuts down on light—these curtains were a great choice.
