Soild Item looks good just what I expected

Nice unit but need to spend hours drilling new holes for lock and lots of alterations required expensive item should not have to do this bad quality control

Overall I was pleased with the post box but when you spend so much money you expect not to see paint drips on the box and one part missing paint as in the picture. Rather than return the box I accepted the offer made by Amazon for a 20% refund.I found the holes in the box to attach to a stand did not match any of the stands available for sale in the local French DIY stores so ended up buying the stand from the seller which fitted perfectly.Also, note when it rains the card on the front of the box showing delivery times gets wet so not sure how long thats going to last!

There was evidence of damage on the packaging, ie dropped on corner as front heavy),then once opened I saw the above. I have tried to request touch up paint as I wish to keep and will repair.

Lovely product, unfortunately cannot be fixed onto wall without fixing plate, which is not supplied,Should be made clear by seller

Bought this to replace a small wall mounted post box which leaked. The item arrived dented on the rear left curved edge but I thought it adds character. The unit is fairly heavy and very front heavy. You will also need to purchase the stand that goes with it (£70+) and then a universal soft ground base(£40) to mount all that to, unless you're planning to bolt it straight into concrete.Having done all this the item looks superb but then it should for £180 and change all done. The actual installation was extremely simple, but do be very careful mounting the box to the stand because it is extremely front heavy and you will need the door open to mount it and bolt it together, really you need 1 minute of someone's time just to get a couple of bolts in. Then the whole thing is done within about 3 minutes.

Heavy duty cast iron that looks like the real thing.Much cheaper than an original one bought second hand.
