are the pillows washable ?

Yes! Totally. Come out like new. Quick dry. Washed mine three times. The sun does a little number on the color, so now it’s kinda like ombre, but I have throw pillows on them and it doesnt matter to me. Besides, I was just letting get old to replace with a new color.

Does it hit the bar when swinging?

Not with normal swing. Don’t know with a super high swing.

What is the max weight capacity? One image says 450, one says 500.

It doesn't swing a lot, but it's comfortable and relaxing. I would buy again.
