This pump has a lot of air pressure for the air volume it flows. This makes sure that you don't lose air flow due to resistance or water depth. And! And the rebuild kits for these pumps are around $20 and easy to install.

I read reviews from several people complaining that this air pump only lasted a few years Well mine lasted almost 4 years before it failed. But so what if it did fail? That's expected. The rubber diaphragms won't last forever. What is great about this unit is that it can be very easily and inexpensively rebuilt. I bought the rebuild kit for $15 and about 30 minutes later it was running again like brand new. That's why you should buy this air pump. None of them last forever. But this is not a throwaway! If I was to rebuild one again I could do it in 15 minutes easy. Just by the rebuild kit from Danner. They sell it right here on Amazon. I use mine to aerate a 300 gallon stock tank for my large animals on the farm. Keeps the water very nice and clear. It also keeps the water from freezing because the bubbles circulate the water.. I don't need to turn on the tank heater until it's less than 15° out. This has easily paid for itself just in the electricity savings versus having to keep a 1500 what tank heater running constantly.

I bought 1 a month ago. It works great. Very powerful. I have 4 ponds and it easily could support all 4 but they are quite away apart. So i had a cheaper one die so i purchssed another one. Would definately recommend for a pond or multiple aquariams. Quick delivery.
