## Description

These cans of spray paint are extremely useful for painting large surfaces. The paint is synthetic lacquer that cures in a short period of time. Each can contains 100ml of paint, which is enough to fully cover 2 or 3, 1/24 scale sized car bodies. Tamiya spray paints are not affected by acrylic or enamel paints. Therefore, following the painting of the entire assembly, details can be added or picked out using enamel and/or acrylic paints. By combining of three different paints, the decoration of plastic models will become simpler and more effective.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this paint be painted directly to the plastic without a primer?**
A: I believe you could. But I have found that the paints give a better finish when applied on top of a primer. I guess also it depends on the wear the item you want to paint will receive.

**Q: Can this be used to paint clear plastic action figure stands....?**
A: Hi - not sure what your referring to -but this is  an enamel laquer that dries clear and will give a semi-gloss appearance to painted surfaces , so  it is purely to protect the surface and to  perhaps add a bit of shine to otherwise matt colours . Its only -semi gloss though so think  silk paint in terms of household paint as an example .

Provides a very even, glossy finish. Sprays uniformly and consistently. But expensive nonetheless. Consider cheaper alternatives.
