First of all, I had a 90%+ germination rate. So, the seeds will grow if you take care to start them off right. The seeds come in envelopes of pepper type. I got the 6 variety/100+ seeds. You, as the reader, are probably trying to decide if you should buy these over any other deal on this site; I bought from Wayland Chiles and I am satisfied.You are reading this review to see some info on why you should buy seeds. So, here is what I did...I did not initially start the seeds when I received them. I researched the best growing methods to ensure germination. I decided to grow them in a Plant Start 72cell Dome Tray like the one from Pro-Hex. I then filled all the cells with composted starter soil, the kind with organic material like kelp, bone meal, etc. When I planted the seeds, now this is important, I placed the seeds on top of the soil and just covered them enough to keep them out of direct air contact. When I watered the tray, I made sure to get the soil wet but not soaked. I then closed the dome and taped it down because I put the whole set up outside because the days were in the upper 80s and the nights never dipped below 75 or so. This was the ideal starting temperatures for starting them. I did not take the cover off for any extended time, just long enough to refill the bottom liner tray with water. It was about ten days before I saw the first seedling, but when I did... almost all of them started to sprout. I think there were like 3 cells that did not take. I planted about two seeds in some of the cells, just in case there was a seed that did not germinate. I ended up taking the stronger plant out of each cell when they grew. I would have over 100 plants if I kept them all. I transplanted the seedlings when they had two sets of true leaves and about 3 inches tall. I transplanted into Jiffy 3 inch peat pots. When I transplanted, I put in more composted potting soil with organic material. This will ensure that the plants start out healthy. I am still growing them indoors, keeping the water and temperature in just the tolerable level for the plants to keep them small over the Winter. I have done the first pruning when the plants did their third and fourth set of true leaves. You may have some apprehension to cutting the tops off your plants, but it is worth it. The leaves are spouting from all Y-Joints and growing new branches. The stalks are increasing in width to accommodate the increased branching. When I bring them outside this next Spring, I know they will take off!Hope you find my review helpful.
