Magic: The Gathering The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Set Booster Box - 30 Packs (360 Magic Cards)

Package arrived well packaged and protected. The WotC seals were still on the main box and the product didn't look like it was ever opened or searched. The cards themselves were in great condition, no edge damage from shipping or handling which is something I was worried about. The set itself has a great variety of cards and if you are a fan of LotR you will love this set. The commons and uncommons work well together and my pulls included a lot of rare and mythic rares. The set is also fun to play with some great combos that work well together. The only thing I would say about this set is that you need to get a box because some of the combos won't work with other sets at all. But this is the set that you get a lot of the powerful food combos as well as a lot of interesting commander options.

Let me tell you, this MTG: Lord of the Rings set is no mere trinket of Númenor. It is a treasure of Middle-earth, forged not in Mount Doom, but in Wizards of the Coast’s finest design halls. As a lifelong fan of both Magic and Tolkien, I approached this crossover with the skepticism of a Gondorian steward, but oh, how wrong I was. The flavor is immaculate. Every card drips with lore—whether you're casting You Cannot Pass to shut down an attacker or using Samwise the Stouthearted to retrieve your fallen Frodo, it all feels right. Even the land cards are little postcards from Middle-earth—I half expected the Shire to start growing mushrooms on my desk. My highlights: Mechanics and flavor align beautifully—"The Ring Tempts You" is as flavorful as lembas bread. And lembas bread is as flavorful as.. well... you get the idea. Artwork is glorious—seriously, some of these cards deserve a spot in Rivendell’s near-endless library. Pulled a foil ring showcase Sauron and screamed like Gollum finding a fish for the first time in a month. Only downside? Now I’m morally obligated to build a Hobbit tribal deck and speak in riddles every time I play. (Also, my wallet took more hits than Boromir at Amon Hen.) If you’re even remotely a fan of either franchise, this set is your precious.

This set got me back into MTG. I am a LOTR fan to it was so fun to open. Getting value back on it maybe tough. Buy only if you are an MTG and LOTR fan.

Not a bad price for the shipping time. Pulled a non foil the one ring so I’m happy. Art cards are beautiful.

So far I've opened half the packs and I've pulled some fun cards. I'm playing draft with my friend and this set has a lot of neat cards in it and foils.

I literally puked everything I wanted out of the set. The one ring, Bowmasters, delighted halfling, banditry, last march, palantir.... Couldn't have been happier!
