Finally one that wont explode
My loving wife (from Philippines) where Pyrex is KNOWN to be PYREX not pyrex like most in the US. They even have cooking glassware that I am on the lookout for. Back to my review: My loving wife put 2 super hot liquids in 2 of my past measuring pyrex cups and the slightest cooling liquid makes it crack or explode. Thus my purchase of this one. Although its not "American" measures. I don't care. I can always Google that. I don't want to order another flipping pyrex glass that can't handle the damn heat when I am in the kitchen. I am on the lookout for anything PYREX now. One less item to seek out. Glass is thick, arrived in a very nice DHL van might I add. Will test it out this weekend.

Real Pyrex, not American glass
This measuring cup has no crack/shatter warnings because it is real Pyrex.

Measuring Cup has One Job
Sure the glass is real and it has British pint markings but the metric measurements are off by 50mL. What good is it if it measures incorrectly? Heating your coffee in the morning? No thanks. Buy a real, all caps, vintage PYREX (not the lower case label, that are NOT borosilicate glass) on eBay.

Be careful with this one.
This was purchased from Amazon Japan but the item itself was manufactured in France. The measurement markings, independenat of the metric system markings, are of the British Imperial System, and not the U.S. Customary (measurement) System. Thus, if you're expecting precise amounts while following recipes, you'll need to interpolate or use metric equivalents. Otherwise, this is a genuine PYREX and high-quality.

Worth the wait
This true borosilicate PYREX measuring cup cost a little more and took longer to arrive, but these aren't available in the USA anymore so very happy with it!

Measurements not accurate. 10 oz to a cup instead of 8 oz.
After I received the measuring cup, I noticed that they marked 10 oz per cup instead of 8 oz per cup. English standard measurements have 8 oz to a cup and 16 oz to a pint. Unacceptable error. I am trying to return it now.
