This is a awesome starter plane for beginners. As an experienced flyer it is an great plane to have a lot of fun with we have flown it in 35K winds. I would only advice those wind for an experienced flyer this bird has lots of power.

Great little airplane. Simple to fly in beginnner mode which limits your bank and climb angle, and exciting to fly in expert mode which gives you full authority. Nice to have legitimate three axis control of aileron, rudder, and elevator, unlike many cheaper RC planes. Very crash-damage resistant. I crashed this into a fence at nearly full speed. The battery flew out but once reinstalled, it flew just fine. Having the propeller in the rear protected from damage is key.

Great trainer, but also fun for stunts and tricks for advanced pilots, and it's a nice platform for playing around with an FPV camera. 1.1m = 43.3 inch wingspan. This is not a small airplane, and it's easy to see in the air. Flip the x-mitter to easy mode and take off, fly and land, just like in the simulator. Crazy easy for a 1st timer to fly solo after practicing with the simulator many times 1st. Highly recommend the Spektrum Ws2000 Wireless USB Dongle so you can use the included (or any) Spektrum transmitter with your PC RC flight simulator. After a couple of real flight sessions, I was able to switch the flight mode on the transmitter to 'expert' and do flips and rolls with no trouble. It was really fun to do acrobatic stuff with this plane! I'm surprised how similar it is to flying the simulator. Set it back to easy mode, and the big squishy tires and pusher prop in the back make it very forgiving for a beginner to land. I have yet to break anything on this plane after several flights as a complete novice. Just take your time, practice with the simulator first, and especially, fly in a place well suited for larger RC airplanes with lots of space. If you are in the US, BE AWARE THIS RC AIRPLANE IS LEGALLY CONSIDERED A DRONE by the FAA (yes, I know it's an airplane, but it's government, so 'nuff said), and because of its weight, you MUST REGISTER yourself and this craft with the FAA as well as purchase, install and register a Remote ID unit for this airplane, unless you fly it at one of the FAA registered "FRIA" sites, which are exempt from these rules. Again, this is airplane DOES NOT include the legally required Remote ID unit that must also be installed and registered to your craft on the FAADroneZone website. Tons of them on Amazon. I bought the tiny Ruko Remote ID unit for $30, and you can easily locate and track your RC airplane with your smartphone with free apps. Just make sure you go to the FAADroneZone and 1) Register yourself 2) register your aircraft 3) Register your Remote ID unit's serial number to your aircraft. Easy! Done! Then make sure to write your US representatives in the House and Senate and tell them how amazingly stupid it is to designate a simple, nonautonomous, foam RC airplane as a "drone" and force it to be registered, basically killing the hobby and making it harder and more expensive for kids, STEM students, and students of all ages to learn about and enjoy this technology as we have for decades in the US, without incident. If you want to avoid this, stick with aircraft under 250 grams, which requires no registration with the FAA nor a remote ID module. All in all, this is a GREAT trainer as well as a more advanced flier for stunts and tricks. You really can't go wrong with this airplane. It's also very popular for use with FPV systems. 100% recommend.
