My daughter and her friend (7years old), had a really fun time excavating and we were impressed by the real fossils!

AWESOME as a gift or for dino lovers! My son has received several versions of fossil digs over the years but this is the best one I have seen. He is 7 now and loved reading about each fossil in the books that comes with it. It is large enough that it kept his attention for a long time over the course of a couple days. He was cannot believe they are real fossils!

My granddaughter, who has wanted to be a paleontologist since she could say the word, actually screeched when she saw this gift, she was so excited. She could hardly get through Christmas she wanted to “dig for artifacts.” Great present!

Pretty cool fossil dig my son is 6, he loves it, it takes alot of time to get the fossils out, the dust is a bit messy, but easy clean up. I recommend for any fossil loving kids.

Used these as party favors, everyone had a blast looking for the fossils!

Perfect hunt pieces

This kit was purchased for an advanced four year old boy. He thoroughly enjoyed digging for the fossils and learning about them from the instruction book. My grandson spent hours digging and examining the fossils under a magnifying glass. I highly recommend this STEM product.

We did this for a homeschool science activity. My son really enjoyed doing the dig but some of the fossils were broken and the fossilized fish, we weren't sure of there was even a part of a fish on there. After matching up what was in the dig with what we found we also seemed to have received a double of one and were missing one of the actual fossils. Overall fun, but wish it all would of had all the fossils it was supposed to and that there weren't any broken ones. Although I do understand they are fossils..and fragile.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew and he loved it! It takes quite a while to get all of the fossils out so we got to spend lots of time having fun together! Gets quite messy however so I recommend putting it in a a shallow box before you start digging.

My 4 year old loved this. Cons:messy and definitely requires parental assistance. Took us about 2 years to dig all the fossils. We sat outside and did this on the deck so we could easily wash it off. Would not recommend doing it inside. Pros: great fossils. My son and I loved them. He still pulls them out and matches them with the booklet and likes hearing the description that accompanies them.

Purchased for my 5 year old nephew, he seemed to have fun with it. I recommend.
