The cable you need to connect modern SAS adapters to individual drives.
This cable is for connecting four individual hard drives (or bays in a hard drive shelf) to a single mini-SAS port on an adapter card or motherboard. It's similar to other mini-SAS to SATA breakouts I've used, though at ~1m it's on the long side which should make it a good fit for large or labyrinthine cases. Material and build quality seems solid enough - I don't see anything wrong with it, and it's an internal cable so it's not really expected to take substantial abuse once it's installed. Using it is easy - connect from card to drives, as you'd expect - but one thing to realize is that you provide your own SATA power connector to pass through to each drive. If you're using enterprise or SAS drives with a SATA power connector straight from the power supply, you may find them refusing to turn on because the 3.3V pin, long unused by full sized drive, has been repurposed as a reset signal. I have found the easiest way to safely work around this is to use a Molex (4-pin power) to quad SATA adapter. The Molex carries the other two voltages you actually want but lacks a pin for 3.3V, and it is rated for 11A which is well more than the sustained power consumption of 4 average hard drives on the 12V rail. Otherwise, it should just work. The 12Gb/sec speed rating is as far as the standard goes, so you should be going as fast as your adapter and drive both support. I'm using mine with an LSI/Broadcom 9300-8i for a home NAS and expect no trouble out of it.

Used it to run an adapter chain
Used this to run a chain of adapters. Works great. Will probably be ordering more, as needed. Not the most flexible, though, so plan accordingly. It runs a bit stiff, so you will likely need to make larger curves or straights. Don't try to run this with sharp corners. Unfortunately, complicates cable management, because of such. On the plus side, it's probably quite durable, as long as you DON'T try to run it sharp. Not gonna take points off for that, but I was a bit disappointed about the difficulty of making twists, but I didn't really know what to expect -- this is my hardware hack of this caliber.

ちゃんと使えてます。英語のレビューでもある通り3.3vを潰す必要があるのでmolex→sata電源に変換して使いました

Requires tape over 2 pins for proper power delivery
They work but I had to put tape over 2 of the sata pins for power to be delivered properly to the drives and the drives to function
