K55HXJPM-9251 - ClimaTek Exact Replacement for Emerson US Motors 1/6 HP Condenser Fan Motor

Received this motor over night. On my Trane condenser unit, the10-32 mounting screws cut the threads. Consider purchasing a fan blade puller to remove the old blade. Mounted securely and has been running well for a couple of hours now. To avoid future problems, I replaced the 20 year old capacitor and relay as well.

After consulting two different HVAC companies, both who wanted over $800 just for the part and then several hundred for the install, I bit the bullet and purchased this exact replacement of my condenser fan that had failed. Less than an hour of labor for one who literally had ZERO experience doing any HVAC work other than replacing air filters in my house and this motor was installed, running and house finally cooling. Delivery was fast, packaging was great and I am thrilled to have saved almost $1k by having a professional install. Super easy to install after watching a couple of youtube videos.

Direct replacement for my unit. There is a QR code on the outside leading to a website with install instructions. I found that helpful. Like others mention, the only negative is that the mounting holes are not pre-threaded. I assume they do this because people have different mounting screw sizes?? I didn't have to tap mine. The steel is pliable enough to push down really hard with a socket to self-thread using your old screws. That being said, those that know how to tap might be better served for a more durable mounting. Recommend! Nice quiet fan!

Everything worked as far as being a replacement for my old unit. Only reason im giving it 3 starts is because the holes for mounting it were not tapped. Had to tap them myself.

The mounting holes were not threaded, I was unable to install motor because of this. I reached out to manufacturer (whose amazon storefront I purchase this item from) to seek resolution for this issue. Was told that they couldn’t help me in any way (even though they sold it to me and amazon was just the shipping provider). Bummer. Ordering a second one in the hopes that this was a one time issue.

Exact match for my old trane xb10 AC. Quality packaging. Seems to be a quality product. Paid 300 but I ordered it at 5 PM and received it at 6 AM in the morning. Well worth the money.
