Some reviews said it was sturdy, others said it was wobbly, but most liked it, and it looked attractive and right-sized for my kitchen, so I went for it. Turns out both were right, it depends on the context. It's generally sturdy *except* for a small (and fixable) amount of side-to-side sway. It's sturdy both front-to-back and vertically, but if the bottom is fixed and you push on the side it will give and feels a little wobbly. The side-to-side wobble becomes more noticeable if the wheels are securely locked or removed, since the bottom won't move at all and the top will respond to pressure to either side. Mine is in a corner, so even with the wheels locked it's fine. For some people this is not a problem, even if they roll it around, it depends on how you use it. As long as you don't push it sideways with the wheels locked it's ok. And the side-to-side wobble can be easily fixed if you don't like it and are handy ... see next paragraph. Most furniture of this sort uses a rigid back panel to prevent side-to-side swaying into a parallelogram shape. The back panel for this cart is two separate pieces that slide into place, with a small amount of extra space, so they don't make the back completely rigid. Some 1/4" plywood or thinner masonite or similar can fix this without increasing the size of the cart, since the two back panels are indented about 1/4". It needs to have enough vertical dimension to prevent the parallelogram shape. Wood could be fastened to either the inside or outside back, either way would work. Other comments: odor: There is some odor, as another reviewer noted, very noticeable to me when opening the doors (I'm sensitive to this). I've had it about 6-7 weeks and the odor is diminished though not completely gone yet. The manufacturer claims it conforms to good standards for formaldehyde emission (a potential problem with most manufactured wood products). I was prepared to seal unfinished edges but didn't need to. As I recall, pretty much everywhere including edges were already sealed with the white finish, except for holes needed for assembly. That was good, and supports their claim, also saving me some time, and presumably the smell is "just" the paint. I'd prefer no smell at all, but I didn't need to open and close it often for the first few weeks so it's been ok, and it's better now, plus I don't stick my head in it and inhale when I open it :-). Another minor, easily fixed flaw was with the drawer. After assembly I'd try to open the drawer, and one side would come out first, making it cockeyed and a little funky to open. It worked but I didn't like it. Happily I fixed this quickly and easily with some shims under the front ends of the metal glides, to reduce the opening width and eliminate slack, preventing side-to-side motion of the front of the drawer. I used small pieces of paperboard from the back of lined pads to fill the extra space, and now the drawer works perfectly, and the tiny paperboard shims can't be seen so it looks no different and works well. All in all this was a good purchase, and I'd recommend it with the above caveats. It was $150 when I purchased (Amazon prices can change a lot!) which was acceptable. It's given me a bit of storage and counter top in my small kitchen and overall fits and works well in my kitchen.

This item met expectations. I was able to put it together by myself in just under 3 hours and it looks really nice. I was also able to swap the side the towel holder was on, they are easily interchangeable. This rolling kitchen cart works perfectly in my kitchen!
