Purchased for my 4 yo grandson. He uses it with or without his Cars car wash. Also in pool and in bath.

I have purchased several color changing cars for my son and this one is my favorite. It truly goes from black to green. Colors are strong. My 2 yr old loves playing with these cars. Ideal for bath time. Water must be really cold. Adding ice helps.

These are super fun, but for a kid who uses them almost every day with ice water and warm water from the kitchen faucet, they don't change color for more than a month. At first they work great and some work half way after a month (like Lightning McQueen did), but some just settle somewhere in the middle like this one did - a mottled green and black color.
